The foundry department has fully automated die-casting cells capable of producing castings from few grams up to 8 kg of weight.

The metallurgical quality of the aluminum is guaranteed by a methane Marconi furnace with a melting capacity of 2000 kg

The commonly used aluminum alloys are EN AC 47100, EN AC 46100, EN AC 46000, EN AC 43400, EN AC 44100. The mold thermoregulation technology is systematically applied in order to get high quality castings under stable and capable process condition. 

Lamec also has a zamak die-casting department with machines which can automatically manage and control the process parameters.

Mold design and construction is achieved through the coordination of the client technicians, together with technicians in our mold and foundry departments.
